Robbie!

Gotta admit, I wasn’t pumped for the Home Run Derby. But after watching Cano light up Chase Field in the second round of the Derby, I was glued to the TV. By far, this was the best derby since Tino’s performance in ’97 at Jacobs Field. Even better, Robbie’s dad, Jose Cano, pitched to his son. How baller is Mr. Cano? While his son was dropping bombs over 450 feet, he remained completely stoic, not even cracking a smile. Finally, after Robbie’s derby-winning blast in the final round, Jose finally cracked a smile and gave his son a hug. Once again, a great moment for the Yankees…a great moment for baseball.

A Great Father-Son Moment
