Watch Out, Knicks are Lookin’ Good!

Clutch.

With three straight impressive wins, the Knicks look to stay hot tonight against the Mavericks in Dallas. If you weren’t able to watch the Knicks – Grizzlies game last night, you missed one of the most clutch shots the NBA has seen all year. With only seconds remaining, Carmelo Anthony hit a buzzer beater to lead New York past Memphis 110-108. The Knicks are currently 34-29 and still hold the 6th seed in the Eastern Conference.

This is the time of the season when you want your team to start catching fire. It doesn’t matter if the Knicks are only five games over .500. They are playing like they’re one of the best teams in the league. Even as a six seed, I’m starting to raise my expectations for this squad come postseason. With Amare and Carmelo playing out of their minds, the Knicks can compete with every team. In a best of seven series, I would take my Knicks over a number of teams in this league. Even against the Celtics and the Heat, I feel that the Knicks have the ability to match up well and can put together some very memorable playoff series’.

If the Knicks win tonight, it will be four straight games against teams well over .500. Not sure how it will play out, but I can guarantee that both the Knicks and Mavs will combine for well over 200 points. Tip off is at 9:30pm ET on TNT. If you’re looking for a defensive battle, don’t watch.
