So I Guess Cliff Lee is too Soft to Play in New York

Some guys just aren’t cut out for it. Doesn’t matter. You don’t want to play for us? Don’t come then. History shows that we can win without you. You might think you’re an American hero for taking less money to go to a shitty town, but you’re not. You’re a scared little pussy. You scared to fail in New York. You’re scared of the New York media ripping you when you suck. You’re scared for your wife getting ripped on in the stands. Guess what? You thought it was bad last year when our fans talked shit to her. What do you think is gonna happen now that you turned us down? I suggest keeping her away from New York for a while.

At least sign with Boston if you don’t want to go to New York. I respect Crawford for signing up there. Carl wants to play with the big boys in the best division in baseball. Lee, on the other hand, wants to play in the “B” league and have fun dominating the Mets, Marlins, and Nationals. I have to admit, I was fully expecting Cliff to sign with us. When I heard he was going to Philly, I thought of our depleted rotation. But then I started to realize, we have a damn good team that I’ll take any day of the week. CC, Phil, Andy? , AJ, and my man Nova (the x-factor of ’11) – not a shabby rotation. Plus, we still have the best lineup in baseball. So let the Phillies dominate the lowly NL East. They will still get their ass kicked by us (like in ’09 if you don’t remember) or Boston any day.

  1. Can you say poor loser?

  2. Steven Brooks Says:

Hey cris, can you say pussy? I’m a Mets fan and I think Lee is a huge pussy for not playing with the big boys. Sure the Phillies will run through the NL East, nobody has ever argued that. But shit, they probably won’t even beat the Giants who’s pitching will match up with Philly any day of the week. If Lee was a man, he wouldn’t have let his wife make the decision for him. In fact, Lee is too stupid to realize that his wife is a terrible decision maker because why would anyone actually want to live in Philly? It is clear Lee wants a easy season and doesn’t want to play with the big boys.
