These are the kind of hard-nosed players I want. If Nyjer Morgan was a Yankee, I would be the biggest Nyjer Morgan fan on the planet. The intensity this guy brings to the field day in and day out is unheard of. Last night, Sportscenter showed a bunch of highlights of Morgan’s crazy 2010 season – showing everything from him taking a catcher out to him running into walls in the outfield. These kinds of “asshole” ballplayers make baseball a great game. I think fighting is great for baseball. It brings excitement, passion and grit to the game. Hope Nyjer is a free-agent this off-season. Would love him as a fourth outfielder.
