Yankees and Park Finalizing Deal
TAMPA, Fla. (AP)—The Yankees are working to finalize a deal with Chan Ho Park, who pitched well against New York in the World Series last season. Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said Monday that he has had several conversions with agent Jeff Borris, who represents Park, but no deal is in place. The 36-year old Park went 3-3 with a 4.43 ERA in 45 games with the NL champion Philadelphia Phillies last year. The right-hander worked 3 1-3 scoreless innings in the World Series.
I like this move. Chan-Ho pitched well last season and showed us that he can have postseason success. One of the big question marks for the Yanks this year will be the middle of the bullpen. Aceves and Robertson could be good options but who knows if they can repeat their strong performances last summer. Park is a proven veteran who can give us 2-3 good innings in relief. Park should be cheap so overall this is a safe signing for Cashman. Plus the dude has some sick karate moves (above).

Interesting picture you use for Chan Ho Park – maybe he can bring a little UFC action to the Yankees bullpen, we could probably use it in Boston.

This just in… the Red Sox have signed UFC star Brock Lesnar to counter the yankees move in signing karate expert Chan Ho Park… should make for some epic bench clearing brawls
