On the bright side, if they get along great and McGrady is 100% healthy, this can help this struggling team. If Walsh decided to acquire McGrady, does he think the Knicks have a shot this season at making the playoffs? Even with McGrady, it’s a complete longshot even to make the 8 seed. At least these rumors show that Walsh and D’Antoni believe that the Knicks are one move away from playoff contention. Once I hear more news about this trade, I’ll let you know.
